hey everyone, i was thinking of switching out most if not all of my stock speakers, and i was wondering how i would go about doing this...i have a 2000gts, and i don't know how to measure the sizes of the speakers because of the plastic grill like thing that covers the speaker...if anyone has done this before, just gimmie some poineters and tell me what kind of speakers you got (i'm thinking of sony xplode's)
thanks a bunch

Crutchfield has most all cars listed in their mag, and will tell you the size speakers to fit the factory holes.

Hey Twisted. Just purchased speakers from Crutchfield and they sent with the speakers instructions on how to remove the stock and add aftermarket speakers. If you want I can scan and e-mail those instructions to you. Let me know.
Who do I love more? My wife or my Celica. My Celica - she rides me faster.

I have a 02 GTS. The front speakers were 6.5" and teh tweeters are 3/4". The rear speakers are also 6.5". Although the rear speakers are held in by rivets. Other than that it is really easy to change out speakers. I have JL XR series in the front and TR series in the back and they fit good. Hope that helps you.
