hey whats up guys, so i was able to get this wing from my friends friend for 300 a week ago. i think i got a good deal, but the thing about the wing is that there is a little discoloration in it. i dont have any pics but im guessing that the clear coats on top of the carbon fiber had some discoloring. well anyways, i am thinking about getting this wing painted silver at TPR, or is there any other thing i can do?

You might be able to try a rubbing compound, and them some real nice car wax. That might help. But if you want it silver than go for it!

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

Just get the Turtle Wax brand Rubbing Compound. It won't say anything about wax on the can, it should actually say "Rubbing Compound"... the compound is brown. After that, use some Turtle Wax Scratch and Swirl Remover, followed by some Mother's brand wax. thumbsup

so i took the wing to veilside which was 8miles from my house, haha, and they said that usually they only do replacements from 60-90 days, but if i can show proof that it is authentic veilside they will give me a brand new one. i thought they didnt need proof but he said that he has seen replicas of this spoiler out there, which i can't really believe but im guessing he is right then. i hope the guy has the receipt for his purchase so i can get it replaced. water got into the wing, thats what they said.

It's should have VS logo engraved on it, that's how you know that it's an authentic. Plus I've never heard of a VS replica wing confused A 90 day warranty is pretty bad, even for VS which is suppose to be a well known manufacturer. If he doesn't have the receipt, you can always paint it.
