does anyone on here know how much a 6th gen ST model (1.8L) will hold. it has 170,000 miles and i don't really care what kind of damage it's doing in the long run. i am going to do an engine swap this summer, and some time before, i want to install a nitrous sytem on my current engine.

whats the largest shot it can take without blowing on the spot

I heard somewhere that the general rule for that is first figuring out how many cylinders you have. In your case, you have 4. Now that you know that, mulitply 4 by 20 (about the maximum amount of n2o you want to spray w/o doing internals and timing blah). 4 x 20 = 80. An 80 shot is a big ass shot so i'd stick to 50 or, if you have the $, 75 shot.

i was thinking a 75 shot. and i don't really care if tears up the engine, i will probably only want it for a couple weeks. i am going to do it right before i do an engine swap
