I just got my side skirts in the mail and I though they went over the stock(grey) ones that are already there. But the side skirts aren't long enough?! Do I need to remove the stock ones? Help confused

the skirts are supposed to go over the stock plastic ones but fitment is sometimes an issue.

Over the stock ones??? No I am pretty sure most side skirts require the removal of the old ones. Both Kits I have installed Bomex for Mk3 supra and "Brs" required the removal. It is super easy, plastic clips and 1 bolt per side. They pull out horizontally. Also why keep the extra weight when they wouldn't be doing anything.

sideskirts for the celi are supposed to go over the stock plastic ones...

the issue here seems to be that the new skirts are too short to fit.

You do not have to take off your stock side skirts.
P.S.I have VS-1 kit (replica) and I installed VS-1 sideskirts on the top of the stock side skirts w/o any problem.

they are the trd side skirts, i got them awhile ago so I don't exactly remember where I got them from, somewhere online. I think I can make it work it just seems as if the one side will need to be forced on. So they go over the stock sides then right? That's what I always thought.

I just put on my kit this weekend and at first I though my skirts were to small. You need to play around with them. At first I tried to put on one side and then connect the other side until I realized that it wasnt working. Then we tried to just slide it all on at once and it seemed to fit. They are probably the right application, but need some playing with.

My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!
