First they dropped off these



Thank you, Tater. I didn't expect these until tomorrow. But, it was a pleasant suprise to get them today. Let me tell you, Tater has done a fantastic job with these inerts. The finishing is excellent. They are primed and ready for paint. This is important because all the prep work has been done, which minumizes the paint cost.

These inserts are going to the paint shop tomorrow, and hopefully, I will have them back soon. I was going to paint them BLACK to go with my silver/black scheme. But, I will play it safe and go with SILVER. Here is another pic:

I have been wanting this guitar forever. Now, that I finally got it, I don't dare to play it because I am worried that I will scratch it. I am soooooo happy. Ain't life grand?

Thank you. Yeah... i am sure i will play it eventually. For now, i am just gonna admire it.

BTW, if you want these headlight inserts, please order them soon from Tater before he decides to stop production of them. He said he is very busy with other projects.

It would be great if you could do a nice install guide. The one I threw together is the bare minimum of info needed for the install. Some of the steps probably need more illustration and elaboration to improve clarity.

For those with money to spend...Spider headlights from "that other" celica website. These come with bulbs or you can get them with HID lights.

BTW: Tony, how much is it to get those inserts painted?

The headlights that they are talking about is a complete housing replacement with dual projectors. Tater has already done it. But, he said it would be too expensive to produce. For $600, you only get the housing with two projectors. Plus, you have to use H9 instead of the stock H7 bulbs, which draws a higher wattage at 65 (stock is 55, and HID is 35). Tater's inserts can be used with stock H7 Halogen or D2R/D2S HID bulbs for half of the price.

I am taking the inserts to the shop this afternoon. I will let you guys the know the paint cost.

How does she sound?

To be honest, I haven't had a chance to really play it. I only plugged it into a little Fender amp to test out the electronics. I will see what she really sounds like when I play it through the Marshall.

I'm sure its going to sound sweet!

Alright, guys. I just picked them up from the shop this morning. The paint job was very nice. The color matches perfectly. The shop owner even commented on how easy it was to paint because all the prep work has been done. So, to Tater. Isaac and I will attempt the install this weekend. I will post pics and install guide when we are done.
