damn gauges

ok problem w/ my gauges.. they dont turn on. they flash for a second when the car turns on then they go black. you think it could be a short?

you mean the standard oem gauges in the cluster? Does the temp gauge light at all? I once had an issue where I got nothing and had to reseat both connects on the cluster. HAvent had an issue since.

no i have the reverse ones.. everything else works.. it's like my first dare i say APC set when they turned off.. but these just flash for a sec when the car is started

ahh ok...well Id check the wiring first... then Id bring the cluster inside and connect the gauges to a 12v PSU to rule out the car being the issue.

Yeah, I would check the wiring first

Um . . .make sure you hooked it up to where it should go and double check the fuse to make sure it's not burnt

I had that problem...it was a loose connection
