what's that black tube coming out, in the picture, from what I assume is the ecu. Also, is it supposed to be able to wiggle when it curves downward and connects to another tube that is going towards the bottom of the car?
Can anyone tell me if it is to wiggle at that point where it curves down, and what is the purpose of that tube connected to the ecu? I'm wondering because, the tube that is connected to the ecu has been "unplugged" for some time now, and i just stuck it back in. it clicks in place and stays in place, that's how i knew that it was "unplugged". i don't know how long its been out, but it has to be for more than 15000 miles. will that harm anything?

dont have too much knowledge about this but that black thing is definetly ur ECU. and that tube that ur saying its not connected anywhere is because you added an aftermarket intake. i think there is a hose that you just leave it when you put an intake, or maybe just seal it. i know 1 shouldnt be used, but which one i duno. check the installs section and look for intake installation, and you will see which tube isnt anymore needed. or else just wait another second and the person below me will get you the answer

its just an air tube... keeps the air in motion around those components so they dont get too hot - simular to how a fan moves air over the top of your computer's CPU to keep it cool

o i c. ok, thanks. so, if my ecu hasn't gone hang wired, then im ok right? because i just stuck the tube back into the hole that goes to the ecu, so now i guess it's being cooled down with air.
