Was looking over the 60K severe service, says to change the spark plugs. I'm at 59,5-- miles, should I change them? Those miles are hard miles, no gentle driving here. Also, it says "valve clearance" could this be whats causing the chatter I hear at running speeds after high rpm driving? And one other thing, the evap. control canister, what is that, and can it be cleaned/replaced cheaply? Thanks in advance for any answers!

Yes, change the plugs and the wires, too, while you're at it.

Yep change the plugs. It will save you money too cause the dealer will rape you on service fees.
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

our iridiums are good for 90K...be prepared to get charged extra for them if you ask them to replace them. the valve clearance thing..i dunno...it's under much debate on what that is. i have heard since we have hydraulic self adjusting valves that we don't need a valve adjustemtn...but i know we have to adjust the shims at some point...hmmm...

I'm doing the service myself, the dealer wants $399 for JUST the service of the plugs/coolant and inspecting the rest, then if they find anything else wrong, they will charge extra for that. I'll buy the plugs and do the install this weekend, as well as flush the coolant. I'll make up some do-it-yourself guides for this, the site is lacking them

They are in black & white though. And are just diagrams so are you going to do some in color with a little more detail? https://celicahobby.com/tech/tsb2/ARTICLE_ENGINE_SPARK_PLUG_REPLACEMENT.pdfhttps://celicahobby.com/tech/tsb2/ARTICLE_ENGINE_COOLANT_FLUSH.pdf

Color pictures and details make it a lot easier.

I think that it's a great idea. And maybe one of Moderators can make it a sticky or thumbtack thing.
