AEM, Injen. smile

There is also a seller on eBay who goes by the name "racesonic" or "tradedex" and he sells cold air intakes. I bought mine from him for about $68 shipped. Works great.

i have the blitz short ram for a gts manual.
its the blue filter blitz, not the metal mesh.
don't know about the u.s., but we here in canada are having a very tough time sourcing just the filters. many stores sell the entire intake system, but the paper filter must be changed once in a while. thus i would suggest if your local shops cannot easily obtain just the blitz filters, go with injen or aem.

blitz also makes the metal mesh intakes. reviews have stated that they do not filter as well as the paper ones.

correct me if i'm wrong, but cant you swap filters on any intake as long as it fits? i personally like injen, but i hear that aem's intake is better for auto's.

i believe you are correct. since we are having massive problems finding blitz filters, a member of my club has found 2 different k&n filters that will fit with the blitz intake. spineyes

Don't get AEM, it causes too many Check Engine Lights.

Get INJEN because it performs better by giving a higher peak HP and it is CARB approved.

AEM only causes an engine check when you install it wrong (as does ANY intake)... The AEM kit comes with all the stuff you need to do it right.. I have one.. no problems at all.. I love it.

I have Injen COI on my GTS 6-speed. I love it. Great sound, best power. Just have to change the filter about every 5000 miles due to direct crud buildup. I just installed mesh wire. Trust me, change the filter every 5-6,000 miles, or at least clean it. But at ~20, why not change it just to be safe?

Oh yeah, I don't think short rams have to be changed that often. COI's are in direct flow or air, bugs, moisture, debris, etc.

Lol, Thor cracks me up. Anyway, I heard that AEM has gains in the lower rpm gauge, where autos need it. Other than that, I was kind of wondering myself. I'm thinking of going Injen just because I've heard everybody loves theirs and it's got better gains.
