Hey i have question for you guys, my celica is a 2000 and and only has about 20K miles, so i am still in warrenty, so the problem is that i have little rust spots on my doors and fenders, anybody know if the warrenty will cover that, i talked to the dealership and they said i have to go in and let them have a look, but i mean, shit, if i have rust know what will it look like in 3 years or so. i think its free paint job time. anybody else have a problem with paint?

I have a 2000 with 70k+ and have absolutely no rust! I'm not too sure about warranty though, I would think so?

THEN definately take it in, it shouldnt be rusted yet and i would go asap so they dont try to get out of it that way like "why didnt you bring it in while it could have been prevented"

I'm not sure but i think that the corrosion warranty is only on perforation keep us updated if you go to the dealership!

Exact same thing happened to me, it looks as if the clear coat is peeling off of mine, and it looks horrible. O well, one more month until the kit gets up on.

As I've heard from dealers, rust warranty only covers if the rust has actually made a hole in the body.

Just got back from the stealership. they said it is actually "rail dust" some of it comes if you scratch it but some will not. they were going to charge me $60 to clean, it and it is not covered by warrenty.
