Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior streetglow underbody

just got a streetglow underbody kit and got a few questions. on the back of the switch there is a connection for power and one going to the transformer, but the directions show one for a ground, but all there is is a tiny little slot in the third spot. is it supposed to be like that or what???? also, where is the best place to mount the distribution block?? i was thinking on top of the drivers side wheel well?

I mounted my Block onto the metal in my engine bay right behind the battery. Also, I am pretty sure you have to mount it there because the block needs to be grounded. Not positive on that, but I am pretty sure.

anybody know about the switch. it should be the same as anybodys switch for neons, regardless of where. jsut cant figure out the ground wire for it.

unless the switch itself lights up there shouldn't be a ground wire coming from it. I'm guess yours does not and if it did thats where street glow would have put another contact. as for the box to put in your engine bay, the big metal piece coming off of the back if the ground and that should be somewhere where the whole thing touches metal for the best ground, like your firewall.
