Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior rim and tire question

im looking into getting a set of lightweight 15's for my celica. right now im running 18 lorenzo chromes with yokohoma parada spec2 225-18-zr35. want the 15's for racing. my local shop said the lightest ones they could get are american racing and are 18 lbs for like $110. anyone know of a better deal cause that still seems a little heavy, but i dont wanna spend more than that. i dont care what they look like. also, how much do the stock celica 15's weigh? One more question, could i run the 15's in the front and the 18's in the back for just drag racing or would that cause some problems. i know it would look stupid but oh well.

um you could run your bigger wheels in the back, but not that much bigger, it should be more like "15.5 front, 16 back" for example, not 3 whole inchs, correct me if i am wrong...
