I have a 01 gts SMT and i just put a TRD exhaust on i ordered my DC headers and Injen RD Intake. I was wondering if a SAFC will do anything for my car and can i make my car redline at 8500 or higher. I am trying to beat my friends 6 speed with Intake exhaust and headers. what more can i do?

what car does your friend have? a 6spd what?
The S-afc doesnt do anything for a celica.
if you have the GTS get your money back from the DC header buy your CAI and the Power FC
that will let you take it up to 8600 rpms

Regardless, he will not beat a six speed unless he Turbos it, and even then he may still fall short.
