hey guys i hit 105mph going to boston the other day and when i got home i noticed lots of little chips/depressions caused by debris and i use to go 100+ a couple times with my stock bumper and that didnt happen...so i think the guys either suck at painting and put a very clear thin coat or i just had bad luck that day and there was tons of salt...dont know wut to do now so im gunna complain 2 those bums

sounds like they put only a minimal amount of clearcoat on...paint shouldnt chip that easy.

also, i'm not sure what to think about the depressions..thats not normal but i'm not sure how much that actually has to do with the paint.

what front do you have is it Urethane or Fiberglass.

fiberglass will pit if it with a pebble or sumtin at thse high a speeds.

urethane will hold up better but cost more to fix

sounds like they used a non-flexible paint (or at least the primer). When that happens on a bumper which is flexible (fiberglass or Urethane), the bumper flexes at high speeds, and the paint doesn't. That makes cracks, and then the paint can flake off just from the force of the wind. They should repaint your bumper for free, and you should make sure they use an elastomeric paint for all three layers... primer, color, and clear. They should do three clear coats also.

thats from the rocks and stuff on the roadways hitting your front end and exposing the gel coat. how far away were you keeping from the person in front of you?

How long ago did you get your car painted b4 the chips came? I goy my bumper painted a while ago and they said the paint will chip eaisly until its fully curred. Which was like a month or something. So if you didnt give it enough time to cure that is ur onwn ignorance. Chances r it was still curing. I got about 2 chips but i never relay went over 50mph.
