i just painted my headlights today and i'm really happy about them. i can't get pics right now because my digital camera is broken, but i just wanted to give sum tips for people. TAKE YOUR TIME. i was a little hasty and made a big mess. i fixed it but lil unhappy in the right one. also get a good cleaner and clean the lights hardcore. paint good. like nice THIN coats and plenty of time inbetween. by the way this was really easy. i did it by myself in 5 hours. that was a dinner brake included. oven temp was 300 for 12 min and no diffculties at all. the plastic does not melt or get soft it was only the epoxy (glue) that got soft. i pulled it aprat easily. ran into no diffculties. i have no real mechinal skill and i read the install guides like they were a bible and they were right on. thanx to Isaac and robere99. scale of 1-10 of easiness 3.5. the butterfly was harder

I think you're being modest about the difficulty of the project unless you painted the outside of the housing.
