Does anyone know someone around the L.A area that could change the rev limiter in my 02 gts thanx for your help

i have kinda the same question. on the '02 model the limiter is set at 7800 and other 7th gen they are at 8200. i was wondering if there is way to reprogram or upgrade the ECU to "bump" the rev limiter up. anyone have any suggestions?

yea, is there a sort of mod i could do to bump up my rev limiter (on a 2003 celica gts)

i have a 2000gts, but i'm pretty sure i have heard that if you get an ECU from either a 00, 01, or 03 put in your 02 then it will bump it to the 8200 rpms...as for making it higher, you would have to get a new chip, although i'm not very familiar with the ones for the celica out yet...i think jet has one and i'm not sure if there is a diablo chip, but thats what i would get.
