If you were to get a TWM SS do they make the thread on the top for the shift knob the same as the stock one? for example, could you still use your stock knob on the SS without an adapter of some sort?

yes twm's threads match those of toyota's. twm is the shortest shifter you can buy. trd is a very easy install, but its not nearly as short.

Hi, Read a lot of positive reviews about the twm short shifters.. Anyone know if their ss can fit into a JDM ss1 (gt equivalent)?
Tried mailing them but my mails keep getting rejected.

TWM has the shortest height and shortest throw which are the true characteristics of a short-shifter.

ZZT230, im sure that it will fit, ur shift pattern is like this right?
1-3-5 2-4-R or is it reversed?
5-3-1 R-4-2
if it is like the first pattern i specified, it will fit. [ 05-17-2003, 01:34 AM: Message edited by: dontmesswithkram ]
