I lost control of my Celica (roads wet, driving to fast), and put it in a ditch to avoid the other cars on the road. The body is ok (thank god) and so am I but my passenger side wheel is F'd. The ditch was on of the paved kind I guess for water run of, and it chewed my wheel up good.
Its at a shop now just to see what is wrong (makes a thumping sound), I hope its just the wheel. I called toyota to see how much a new GT 15" wheel is, the want $400 for ONE GT WHEEL!!!!!!!
I know I can get new tires from tirerack.com at a great price but where can I get I new GT wheel at a good price. I may just get all new wheels and tires from wheelmax but I still would like to know where to fine a GT wheel.

Glad you are OK, the nice weather yesterday has made us all a little complacent. Check ebay for a GT rim, $400 in insane.

Thanks Diablo, those prices are far better. they are still kinda high, I've seen them as cheap at $100. But, you are kinda in a pinch, still $150 is better than $400

Just got a call from the shop, turns out I'm one lucky SOB!! I just need new tires, the wheel is chewed on the edge but not bent. The thump is from the bald spot I wore in the front tires locking up the brakes. I just ordered a new set of Kuhmos off of tirerack. As far as the wheel goes I'm going to keep it until I get a new set of 17s. The stockers will then be winter wheels only. I'm going to take this as a warning from the powers that be and one slow the hell down, two never take that backwoods ass country road again. Thanks for the help and the kind words everyone.

Glad you are OK, the nice weather yesterday has made us all a little complacent. Check ebay for a GT rim, $400 in insane. Yeah, check eBay. As for other damage, your tie rod, shock absorber, and ball joint might be messed up. Dunno though. Depends on how bad it is. EDIT: Whoops, didn't realize that you already went to the shop.

God forbid you screwed up the car body and not your own. LoL j/k man, nice save. I blew my front tire the second day i got the car. It cost me $150 dollars for a new one. ONE tire because the model on my other three had stopped production and they had to find me a totaled celica to steal the tire from. Bad luck but hopefully youve got it all taken care of.
