i have read all the arguments about AEM vs Injen...my biggest problem is that im a college kid who cant afford repairs on my car so my warranty is essential...is there ANY cold air intake that won't void my warranty?? Is TRD going to come out with one for the celica like they did w/ the matrix??

Well, TRD probably won't make one, not in the near future anyways. I a college student as well and I have the Injen CAI. The first time I went to the dealer for warranty work, I just took the intake off and it was all good. My car is in the shop right now for more warranty work and I didn't take off the intake, and they didn't say anything. Right now it is in there for the gear housing, it crakced. But also remember that all dealerships will be different and warranties are different as well.
Hope that clears things up for you.

If you HAVE to have an aftermarket intake, just take it off when you get warranty work done - simple as that.

We're talking around an hour taking it off. The first time you install it, it is easier to install the Intake by removing the bumper due to having to cut the splash guard. But if you remove and put it back on, you can leave the bumper on, just peel back the wheel well guard.

Yea that would be cool if they finally made a CAI for the celica, but don't get your hopes up.

K&N intakes will not void factory warranties. That's why Im gonna go with them. Unless the TRD comes out first And I thought an intake couoldn't get more expensive than K&N!!! -Greg
