I just ordered a body kit from a buddy and i was planning on gettin a blitz front, and a veilside back and side skirts. I was able to get the front and the side skirts but then i found out i couldnt get the back. I was left getting the buddy club/blitz back bumper. What do you guys think? Is this mix/match alright??

is the back bumper too high for the veilside?? or is it the design that will throw it off? what other back bumpers couldve matched besides veilside?

can you post a sideshot? buddy club is slightly lower than blitz which is slightly lower than veilside.

so saying, buddy club & blitz match up fairly well and veilside & blitz match up fine (because the differences aren't really noticeable without a ruler). but matching a buddyclub with veilside makes it a little bit more noticeable...but i would still like to see a pic from the side if possible.

also, buddy club tends to be more 'squarish' while veilside tends to be 'flowing' if that makes sense.

that said, it doesnt look as bad as some users above me are making it sound...my main concern is how 'off' the kit is in terms of how low the pieces are. thumbsup

i just don't like the buddy club rear in general... there are too many fins on the ass-end of it and it just won't look right with the "flowness" of a VS sideskirt job. veilside kits are known to FLOW, Buddyclubs are made to be boxy and made for Rally looks.

what i think i might do is shave off a bit of the top part of the side skirts to match the bumper. the bottom part matches up somewhat but the top part doesnt. the veilside is higher by like 3 inches.

ok people, we know it is going to flow with the rest of the car...and your only rear bumper choices are blitz and BC, well your out of luck then...either go with something like the VS ff gt rear (it looks more agressive) or something else that is a little more agressive, then your out of luck...

if you guys didnt get it yet, i already ordered buddy club because i basically had no other option. i dont have enough money at the time to get those other bumpers becuase of $$ and also becuase i had two weeks to do this. so what im askin is what i should do to make it flow better. i'll post some pics up of the kit and then show what i might do to it.

I see what you're talking about. That might be a good idea for the back bumper, but if it's going to cost you a lot of money to get it done, forget it. I seriously don't think it would be a big deal at all if you left it like that.

SHAVE IT! that'd be a custom job, but if you know how to work it, i say do it. but if you have a shop do it, it'll cost you an arm a leg and possibly an ear. but shaving the top part of the skirt and then possibly molding it to your car with some Fiberglass would make up for the "non-flow-ness" of the kit.
