Everyone knows what I'm talking about, right? The "CELICA" indented on the back of the car .. to those of you who have this colored in: did you use paint or vinyl, how easy/hard was it, and how much did it cost?

Yeah I went to his site but I didn't see a "rear celica" kit. Hook me up, Bat - what's the deal?

You know what I did with my rear fill in I took a wad of fiberglass and bondo and filled it in. Now I have no celica indent and my celica is 100% debadged and I love how no one knows what kind of car it is.

And why would you want to hide the fact you own a celica anyways? Isn't one of the points of having a nice car knowing you have a nice car?

I love seeing women drive celicas, especially manuals.
More women should get into sports cars and leave the mommy vans in the garage!

I have them in red on my black car. $10 at www.newcelica.org [ newcelica.org] . It looks good. Easy to put on. It's just a sticker.

I guess I am the only one who actually painted this in. Not too hard to do and you can get an exact color you want. It is hard for me to find vinyl that matches the color scheme I have on my car. Does take a lot of time and patience to tape off the smaller parts of the letters. But if you are looking for the perfect color, then I would say that paint is the only way to go. And I have never liked the way most vinyls fit. I want the sides of the letters colored as well not just the very bottom. Well that is my two cents on the matter and I hope it can help some of you.

I did this on my last car, and I agree that you can get a very good result. But, it IS a pain to do, and vinyl is inexpensive, by comparison. I guess it's up to the individual
