My break is making squeaking noise when I come to a stop. It happen every time I step on the break. I need new rotor or what? Help me out guys. The noise suck! Thanx

i was gonna post about that today too. But my squeaking happens when i reverse. Does anyone know what it can be?

brakes squeaking in reverse is normal. every celica does that.

reverse squeaking is normal, as venom stated. Alot of guys have complained about it in the past - goes with the territory. If you're squeaking on a stop, check your brake pads...

If you hear an ULTIMATELY annoying METAL on METAL noise, that means you need new brake pads. (On the brake caliper there is a "warning" that's a little piece of metal tab that purposely makes a squealing noise.) If it's just a normal squeaking noise, that's normal. You can purchase some "Brake Squeal stop" spray that you can spray on your rotors or pads or something.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
