I was just wondering if TRD (theoretically of course) if a supercharger comes out for our cars if it would work as well, or at all with lighter pulleys, or a flywheel? Thnx

I don't see why not. I'm not to educated with that, but if you think about it, why wouldn't you be able to. I don't know if you will notice any gains though from them since you have a S/C. The flywheel will be beneficial for sure and can be used. I recommend getting a clutch as well. If anyone can correct me on this or disagrees, feel free to share.

The only pulley that would have negative effects on a s/c if the pulley was underdriven is the crankshaft. Since the s/c is powered by the crankshaft via the belt, if the crankshaft pulley is enlarged(underdriven) it gives the s/c the appearance that it is moving slower than it actually is, thus not spinning the s/c pulley as fast as the regular crank pulley would.
But lightened pulleys and flywheels are always beneficial, if you're looking to squeeze every last hp out of you engine.

i've been having trouble lately of reading things that arent actually written, like the whole underdriven pulley thing i just posted. Though what i said still applies, the answer to your question is lighter pulleys and flywheels wont decrease performance no matter what you do.

Underdriving your alternator is dangerous though, just cause it can kill your battery. Underdriving the crank on a celica is a bad idea because it acts as a harmonic dampener, you rempve that, you get strange noises and you can dammage your engine. If you are at 200whp will 202whp be ANYWHERE of a noticable difference? 2whp when you are at 120whp you will probably notice, but there is absolutly no reason to take the associated risk with an underdrive pulley if you go turbo or SC IMHO. It just doesn't make any sense. And what ryanceli said also makes sense, since you are driving the supercharger with the crank, an underdrive crank pully may underdrive the supercharger, I think that's a safe guess.
