Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Raised Carbon Fiber scoop on stock body?

Ok I have a stock body on my car... I want to put a carbon fiber raised hood scoop on...My car is silver (have a greedy exhaust and carbon fiber tail lights) Do you think the scoop will look retarded since I dont have a body kit on my car???

Should I just go for the OEM Carbon Fiber scoop or for the raised carbon fiber scoop?

i personally like the carbon fiber scheme... it looks great on silver. i have a rmm carbon fiber wing, rmm carbon fiber hood scoop, carbon fiber tail lights, i would like to have a carbon fiber hood but i just had to pay a $500 vet bill(and i'm savin for hotchkis springs) , just my opinion though

i wouldn't add any type of body mod until the car was lowered. the big gap between fenders and tires is what looks tacky and is augmented by adding things like nice rims,body kits, wings, hood scoops, etc... at least do your suspension 1st then anything else after. imho

I'm all for a raised hood scoop just not in Carbon Fiber, go for body match.
I've seen that 100 times on celicas without a body kit and it looks hot!
