I used the G2 Paint Caliper System: comes with the paint/brake cleaner/stir stick/brush/directions and also has a lifetime guarantee against cracking, peeling, etc. etc.
can you just post the website you got the that paint ? it looks really shinny i got some paint from pepboys and dunno they will look that bright ? thanks man
nice car, and nice pics. but seriously, drivability is not changed with springs that dont slam your car. ive got the hotchkis springs and have NEVER scraped on anything, and youve got bigger rims which make ur car higher
is it just me having WW or does anyone else bottom out on their side skirts more then their bumper
never scraped the sides, but I have scraped the underside of the front bumper (very minor, you can only see it if you're underneath the car). And if I've already done that, how much worse would it be with a lip AND lowered?

WTF are you talking about???? P.S.I'm not rude... Just sad...
As a matter of fact, it's the exact same wheel gap as the stock 15" from toyota. The angle of the picture is just distorting the image... here's another for comparison:
they look really good Evan... how long did it take to complete? I'm still contemplating whether to do the rears...
Definitely do the rears. You'll be sorry if you don't, trust me.
It took me about 1/2 hour to jack it up and put it on jack stands, then about 1/2 to clean all 4 brakes. Another hour to paint (2 coats) and probably another hour to put everything back so total time about 3 hours, give or take.
Plus, you have to let the paint cure for 24 hours before you can drive it afterwards.

put your hand about 6 inches under the car from the side, you should feel this metal thing that sticks out. you put the jack on that , you dont put it on the sideskirt is self

Hey, Did you have to take off the brake caliburs or did you just spray with it on the wheels still?
Ok, I went to the Autoaccessories.com website and I still can't find the Caliper Paint kit, I do a search for G2 Caliper Paint and I get all this useless bs, can you give me a direct link?

Actually, what I did was just put my head down on the ground and look underneath the sideskirt. You'll be able to see the "groove" where the jack fits. It's probably 6" - 1' back from the wheel well, on the front. Then, once it was jacked up pretty high, I placed the jack stand on the rectangular "tube" that runs the length of the car - there's one on either side - it's part of the frame, and can withstand the weight of the car just fine.

Just want to know
This paint goes on with a brush - I was pretty careful, so I didn't even bother taping off anything.
The brake CLEANER however goes on as a spray, and if you aren't careful, you can get that on your paint, and that's bad because it is some strong stuff! So, when cleaning, make sure you're working in an area with no wind, and if you're still worried, you might wanna tape off the fenders.
