WOW!!! THAT Turbo WAS TOTALLY AMAZING. MUST OF COST A PRETTY PENNY THOUGH, BUT ITS WORTH IT WHEN SHOWIN' OFF! LOL How's the maintainence on the Turbo? I've heard a deal of information saying that it breaks down quick, is that true?
I doubt Toyota will be building Performance cars anymore, Billy.
From what I've seen, Toyota is leaning towards the alternative fuel market, something it dominates in the US.
In a few years when gas is like $4/gal, Toyota will be king of the automotive industry. They've always been ahead of the curve with automotive technology.
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation To know even one life has breathed easier This is to have succeeded.
nice video car sounds sick...but maybe next time i suggest bigger parking lot and not a staples where you almost got hit liek twice lol...or drive by on the street or something
not that i doubt you anyway, but isn't it possible to put a blow-off valve on a celica w/out a Turbo? i thought you could, it just wouldnt sound as high due to the obvious lack of compression

um just gotta ask, what would put the air through it? a can of keyboard cleaner?
A boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything....Even a boat!

With over 8,000 posts you should know by now that without a Turbo , it wont make that sound. It would make noise when it lets out vacume, but not the same as pushing out 7psi of pure boost.
All you guys saying get the SF kit are crazy. The XS kit puts down more power and is only about 800 more. I installed it myself, and the only thing I had to do is get it dyno tuned. The car was runnign very rich. I have dyno's uploaded, please do a search. 260hp @ the wheel. So around 320hp @ crank.
yeah you probobally know but the sound from a blow off valve is air leaving the manifold coming out of the bov at a high rate,so without a Turbo there is gonna be no compression in there

lmao
Dude come on, I hope you were joking..
nah, i just didnt know so i asked.
heard someone said you could, that's all. now i know. i did know that the sound would be nothing like a Turbo (if by some chance you could) and i metioned that. but oh well, defending useless questions is..useless i guess
lol everyone in the back ground was making "PSSH!" sounds
Savage ride bro..
I would've been doing the same thing had I'd been there... wouldn't you????
oh and, kick ass ride man, I can't wait to do mine. Did you have to buy new pistons and valves all seperately before buying the Turbo? or does the kit come with it?

you do not have to buy new pistons or valves with the xs kit running at 7psi.
if you increase the psi (which the xs is capable of doing) THEN you will have to reinforce your engine.
