nah, i just didnt know so i asked. heard someone said you could, that's all. now i know. i did know that the sound would be nothing like a Turbo (if by some chance you could) and i metioned that. but oh well, defending useless questions is..useless i guess [/quote] we learn something everyday

With over 8,000 posts you should know by now that without a Turbo , it wont make that sound. It would make noise when it lets out vacume, but not the same as pushing out 7psi of pure boost.
All you guys saying get the SF kit are crazy. The XS kit puts down more power and is only about 800 more. I installed it myself, and the only thing I had to do is get it dyno tuned. The car was runnign very rich. I have dyno's uploaded, please do a search. 260hp @ the wheel. So around 320hp @ crank. 1 thing to remember is that SF kit uses stock ECU NOT the power fc so no dyno tuning needed with the power fc we got the sf kit to 250 whp and I'm no expert tuner and thats on 6psi. no spikes either we hold power steady all the way up to 8700 rpms, stock internals. with more tuning we're gonna run a solid 8.5 lbs of boost and we'll be around 270 whp he had the XS kit on his car first but it sucked so bad he has it sitting on his garage floor now. several cracked manifolds and even a blown out Turbo cause XS messed up the install or something once. a loose bolt got sucked into the Turbo he ran that kit for almost a yr and had nothing but issues. I stand by SF until they give me a reason not too

YOU NEED THE ENGINE MANAGMENT that comes with the XS kit. Im not saying bad things about SF, just that it does not perform as well.

uh we just dynoed today after another hour of fine tuning and we put down almost 280 whp and 204 wtq with the sf kit. the SF kit that you're refering to is the base kit. add the power fc or the alcohol injection kit and you'll be saying what xs kit. If I spent as much money as you did on that kit I'd defend them too. lol

thats the one and it's about $1000 more then the SF kit. which for $900 more you could add the PFC and have the best of both worlds
