your a little vague in your specifications, what excatly are you looking for? big spl, or a nice small sq system? Do you want to sacrifice your whole trunk or just half? Also what's yor budget?

if you want some kick ass subs i'd check out elemental design subs www.edesignaudio.com [ edesignaudio.com] I got a pair of the e12a's with a tsunami 1800 db and man that thing is gonna pound. I got it all for $900 shipped but that was when a sale was going on. The A series is the high end sub they sell so they also have cheaper ones. I only hooked up one A series sub so far in my old truck and it was awesome for just one. sounded like two. Anyway if i were you i would check them out at that site. They are compared with the JL W7 but a fraction of the price. Highly recomended.

You'll have a REALLY hard time getting two good 12" subs with a powerful enough amp for $700 if you want quality. Those items can be had for a few hundred, but you'll be sorry later. With sound systems, it's best to do it right the FIRST time. I'd look into one 13w7 from JL with a 1/1000 amp if you can. It'll run a bit more, but REALLY hit. Otherwise, look at the series 2 or 3 Rockford subs. Make sure you get a powerful enough amp though. I see people get two 12's with a like 400 watt amp all the time.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you
