Well it didnt go as good as i had planned. my setup ended being 3 mtx 6000's and 1 8000 12" subs and an mtx 6500d and mtx 501 amps. didnt know the rules all that well, and i had my back seat out to fit the extra sub i was runing. they made me just up to the second highest class, super street 1-2. on the first run i was the very first competitor, so about 150 people were circled around my car. using one of their db drag CD's, i hit once before the time started and blew a fuse. those CD's hit a shit ton harder than regular ones. so i got humiliated in front of all those people. pulled the car away and replaced the fuse, tested it and blew another. Put one more in and decided i was gonna just push it until it blew. For those of you unfamiliar with the competition, you have 30 seconds to compete, with your loudest decibal counting as final score. so you can hit just once and it will count. so i gave her hell for about 5 seconds, hit 139.9 db's. not full potential. anyway only 3 in my class so i qualified and gave my competitor a bye, cause the other two were running 150+ decibals. long story short, got a trophy.

Yeah man Nice! I had the same crap happen to me! I have 3 12" Infinity Kappa Perfect DVQ's...and a Fosgate Power BD1501. Son of a bitch hits hard! I hit 148.5 first run and then couldn't duplicate it...One Problem I had was that I had a sealed enclosure...I would have wooped ass with a ported one...but oh well.
