Ok, i just ordered an aem pulley. as i understand it, it frees more power but gives less juice to the alternator, right? big pulley, slower spinning, less juice, more hp, small pulley, faster spinning, more juice, less hp. Am i gonna run into problems with my alternator and battery running my system with the pulley on? if so, would it be worth it to get a better alternator?

i used to have an optima red top in my old car and kept it. i was gonna put it in the celica awhile a go, back before i was modding it, and it didnt fit in without messing with it, so i sold it. IM SO STUPID. now i have a big stereo that needs the juice and a red painted motor compartment begging for a red battery!

if you have aftermarket stereo equipment, i would get a larger battery with the pulley, you'll need it...

someone on the boards had AEM pulley, stock battery, and big stereo and kept blowing fuses...

the way to fix it is get bigger battery to power it more! wave

What are some popular car batteries to get, and where to get them?
