Ok heres the problem I really want to pimp out the celi but it is my daily driver right now. So I figure I can do one of the following two things. 1. Buy another car for daily driving probably POS. 2. Buy a 69 Charger Or GTO and restore/pimp it out. If you were me what would you do?

I'm modifying my daily driver The charger or GTO could be fun to. I've actually contemplated the same thing, and I came to the conclusion that I would probably still mod my celi as well. I kind of think that you should get the charger though, personally 1.) May prove to be cheaper 2.) Won't have to worry about miles as much 3.) It could be a shit load faster than thte celi ever will be. 4.) You won't have to be as practical about it...

i would buy another car, and pimp out the celica yup the celi can be your fun car to go around and in get a reliable car for your daily driver, there is no need to get a POS daily driver that you need to worry about and have to fix constently

Celi is a show car, not a daily driver, but that Charger sounds pretty damn good. Me, my uncle and my brother are restoring and pimping his '71 Buick Skylark GS. We took the 350 out and were putting in a 450. A Skylark GS is all low end power, so no supercharger, but this thing will get up and go. The engine we have has been modified (dont ask me how because I dont know) to produce up to 750 hp. To get back on topic, get a POS, and pimp yo celi.

I think most of us use the Celica as a daily driver and have it modded.
Personally, I don't think I could bring myself to driving a POS car, knowing I had a nice one already. In terms of cheap cars, the only one's I'd want to drive around would be MKI or MKII Supra, early 240SX, 944 Porsche or mid 1980's AE86, 1960's Mustang, Corvette Stingray. And even then, all of those cars can look absolutely beautiful when modded and they are half decent cars.

dont waste your money on another car plain and simple, just mod the celi and keep it as your daily driver. its a toyota and if maintained well can run great for years and years to come. save the money for another car to get mods

its my daily driver, and still looks in tip top shape, and i plan on doing afew things to it so yea, but some people dont have the means to buy a pos, especially when they are saving up for big car payments... I.e. as in i'm gonna pay it almost all off.

Yeah, why can't you just make your Celi your daily driver? You must have some cash!!! That's what I do... drive from OC to LA everyday... no problem! Put that money into your Celica!

Heavy metal cars are great. I have a couple, but they are far from being daily drivers. The Celi can be developed as a daily driver. Any time you are creating a show car it takes it off the form of being a daily driver. My Celi now drives 1 or 2 days a week. I have a couple other cars that are stock daily drivers. MBc240, MBe320, Ford Expidition. All reliable and stock. Just buy a care you don't care about and build the Celi!!

Yeah id say go ahead and drive your celica daily i mean cars were meant for driving right? that's their purpose. its not like the celi is a $50k bmw or mercedes. plus its seems like they're on the verge of a 8th gen. soon we'll be out dated...

Well I decided to go with the 67' GTO one of my favs. So now I am going to start building the engine using Chevy 350 small block as base. Plus this car will be a lot faster than my celi run 11's or lower hopefully and I wont have to make two insurance payments a month. Wish me luck
