go with Injen if that's what you like. You shouldn't let 0.9 hp difference make your decision. Although Injen has had issues with cracks appearing on the Intake, so they're redesigning it or trying to fix the problem. But still, you should buy the one that you feel more comfortable with.
people please read the actual dyno not the max hp and tq, aem has way more hp and tq all the way through the power band, whih means you would accelerate way faster, but i'm not sure i believe it either seems a little to bog of a difference
how many dynos were run other than this, they have been known to be inaccurte hence why reputable shops do several runs
Humm interesting graph! does it mean that I made the wrong choice when I got my Injen RD CAI? Humm but I love that aggressive sound that it gives you. And 0.9 hp wont make a big difference..
i dont know if you guys noticed but it say AEM hp is 166.9 and 122.4 tq and injen hp is 168 and 120.5 where r you guys getting that aem is making more hp injen makes 1.1 hp more than aem and aem make 1.9 tq more than injen
i've been changing but you'll never see me now now i'm blaming you for everything

hmmm look at the graph. there is a big difference in low rpms where the hp and tq is with the two Intakes.
and lucky...the dyno did include a trd exhaust (not just unbolted)..it'll raise the dynos up a few whp.
mee and illussive dynoed almost identical he has the trd exhaust. it's all hype I tell ya. every dyno is different. to be the most accurat you need to dyno 3 times per car on the same day, same dyno to compare 2 cars. same with mods you need o give proper cool down between runs so you start at the same temps.
I made 2 tuning maps look the same just by running the weaker one cool and the stronger map super hot. that way people will be shocked on sunday
aem gives better overall Performance than injen! esp. low down and middle. i did a comparrison of both Intakes, identical cars first and then the same car.switching back and fourth between Intakes and even the filters, from a butt dyno comparrison and drivability the aem came out on top easy.you can feel the difference between the two. the injen sounds nice at top end though but i could hardly feel any difference between the two up there unlike the aem where you can feeel the difference right away low and middle when compared to the injen. btw. injen cai for sale! blue.
HYBRID:resulting from the combination of two or more mechanically dissimilar origins! "...... code":every man is a shadow, let him be treated as such, until proven otherwise by a show of character or code!
^^ my bet was those 'feelings' are due to driver bias, not facts.
whether or not they are true or not doesnt matter..but you cannot feel such slight differences and switching between the two would lead to only an assumption.

this is true. it's worth noting that different dynonameters judge whp differently.
the dynojet dynonameter, for example, usually shows a whp that is closer to bhp than some other dynonameters (when used on the same car).
you really do (as you stated) have to dyno the comapring cars/products on the same dynonameter.
BTW its 1.1 hp difference and norway its 20 lb/ft difference not horsepower, that further proves aem owns on the torque side... comon take a little more time reading the dyno
A boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything....Even a boat!
