When does the new 2005 celica model come out approximetaly. Cause Ive been saving for bout 2 months and I will be getting either a WRX or GTS like in DEC or next year, but I want to wait and see what the 2005 models are like to really make my decision if I should by an 03 GTS with not a lot of miles or 04. Im also thinking bout an 02 STI, but I really like the celica so Im hoping thats what I'll pick just want to wait for the newer model though

If anything we should get some info around late June I believe Ya, thats usually when auto makers release information on new generations. Though, billy's dad went to a big toyota meeting and there was no information at all on the new celica.

I hope there isn't a higher powered Celica to be released.. it will make our cars look like shit, it's bad enough people already think that due to their ignorance.
But I was reading some mag' the other day on an article about the Tsunami Celica and they said manufactors often release a special edition model to make one last attempt to heighten sales on a vehicle that is on it's way out. Obviously you can't believe everything you read, but I do remember the Camaro having a Special Edition being released in 2002 (it was red with white stripes) and the car is no longer in production.. I think the Supra had a similar thing, like a '97 special edition (though they made them until 98/99) so it will be interesting. I hope they stop making them this year, '04 and this way our cars will hold more value.

I work for a honda dealership, we always find out about 6 to 10 months before gen pub does, but even what we find out is vague. If they are really trying to keep it under wraps they wont show us pics until a month or so before gen pub sees em.

^^my dad owns a toyota dealership, went to big meeting about ALL new upcoming vehicles and celica wasn't mentioned, nor was the mr2.. this is because... 1. mr2 is being discontinued for states... 2. celica won't have any changes, that's why nothing was ever said...
what they said was that there would be models replacing celica and mr2 later on...
most 05 toyota's are redesigned...i think toyota had planned to redo the celica, but changed their minds...
put it on Scion right now and hybrid vehicles..with more products to come

Japanese companies are tighter lipped than virgins on prom night My buddy is a product advisor at a Lexus/Toyota dealership, he knew about the new Solara (for example) and saw pics of it 4 months before we even heard about it at the auto show it debut at. I guess the people who would know first would be the dealerships. So yeah, Billy would be the first to know here.

if you walk into a dealership, they won't tell you shit. all they want to do is sell you the 2004 models...
