Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior aem cold air intake need help with vacuum hose

hi all i recently bought an aem cold air Intake and i tried to fit it on by myself however i was stuck with one small problem. i dont know where to plug the other end of the vacuum hose that comes with the aem cold air Intake. i installed one side onto the aem pipe. but where does the other end go?? can someone please help me???

at the moment i have just sealed the other end of the pipe with a cap. is this bad for the car???

You probably have the same I have.
There's nothing to connect it to. the us-spec celica's have another vacuum valve, which we don't have.
Just plug it up, you'll be fine.

What I did was run the wire from the nipple to the 'pin' (with the thread in it) to which you would screw the vacuum valve according to the manual.
