My dome light went out on my car. where can i get a replacement bulb. i have a gts with the sun roof. has anyone put a different color bulb? how does it look any suggestions?

 I thought all Celicas came with a sunroof. I got a red 4-LED dome light but then again I don't have a sunroof

what ever you do, just don't get a OEM replacment bulb from kragen, they are not nearly as bright as stock. your best bet is to get a stock bulb from the dealership.

Sorry for bringing this topic back up, but I have a question about the dome light. Now I wanna replace the dome light but I don't want to force the cover to come off. I feel I am forcing it and it will break. How is the appropriate way to replace the bulb? is there a little tutorial... lol sorry

nope... its an option, just like SPOILER and FOGLIGHTS and POWER WINDOWS/DOORS and ALARM are also options yup..it's even an option in the celica gts (although its very rare to see a gts without a sunroof). celicas with sunroofs take different types of dome lights than celicas without sunroofs

Sorry for bringing this topic back up, but I have a question about the dome light. Now I wanna replace the dome light but I don't want to force the cover to come off. I feel I am forcing it and it will break. How is the appropriate way to replace the bulb? is there a little tutorial... lol sorry Just take the screw out and pull firmly on either side. You won't break it. Just make sure you take the small phillips screw out toward the back of the dome cover or else you WILL break it!

^^ ditto. remove the screw..the rest of the cover is just a snap on..use a flat head screwdriver & give it a little pry

film? are you some kinda stalker taking pictures from your dome light? getting a little to crazy in there huh??
jk, you could put some accetate, just like many others have put over there ac control bulb... i dont know how bright/dark its going to be... try outside of the car with a similar blub in a fashlight and put the film in and see... but if you do a lot of map reading then i wouldnt cause the po are going to get you for illegal lighting, if you put red, or blue in your car
