my gts is really pissing me off, i got a cel today took it to autozone and they did a diagnois, it read multiple misfires, the guy at autozone said it was a problem with the fuel filter or injectors so i bought a really good injector cleaner. the cel hasnt come back but the idle sounds chopy. there is a faint tapping bass sound, like its still misfiring. wtf?!?! help me out gts owners, i mean it rides normal i got lift back jst this came out of no where.

i know how your feeling man, i bought my 00gts with 60km on it at 72 i had to get a new clutch, then at 74km i had to get 2 ignition coils changed then at 78Kms i had to get the fuel injectors and ecu updated only they wouldn't cover the fuel injectors so i just got them to do the ecu then the light came on because they didn't match so then they finally covered the injectors and now at 83km i took my car in because the gears were all messed up and they over haulled my transmission with 3600cdn worth in parts alone it's f'ken bullsht man i know exactly how you feel shit when they did the transmission they had my car for a month and a half before they finished...

welcome to the hell that is GTS ownership. I have a problem once a month. It's either a CEL, or water in the headlight, or a broken something. Great quality. I should have bought a Dodge

I should have bought a Dodge boy could I tell you some Dodge horror stories. NEVER buy a dodge, 'cept a viper. Back to the subject, clean your MAF before you go to far. I've heard of a bad MAF causing the same code. Try the cheap fixes first!

I have some friends with intrepids, neons, and stratus' and they have troubles. I honestly dont hear that many problems from GTS owners...

well, most of these problems are because you've got an 00. there are TONS of service bulletins for updates to the 2000 MY. Tranny, weather stripping, headlights, sun roof, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Wait till your tranny breaks, that'll be a headache

It won't break unless you abuse it. the 6spd trannys are fragile and must be treated delicatily.
