about a week ago, i was on my way home and i heard a tapping niose from my engine, i made it to my driveway (which is kind of long and up hill bu the way, well up hill until i get close to my hous then it's flat.) then my engine just died, i checked the oil about 4 days earlier and it wasn't full but wasn't too low. and i had already i had scheduled some time out of my busy shedule to change my oil the next day also, well i changed my oil and it's drivable but not at any rpms over like 2k, it's knocking like crazy. so i'm driving my POS riced out Geo Prizm for now.

although this sounds like areally bad thing, and i wish it would have happened a few weeks later, it is turning out to be almost perfect.
i have already sent out for a quote on how much the shipping will cost for my new 3SGTE MR2 ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, AND ECU; thats right folks, i'm doing the swap very very soon, the price w/o shipping is only 1800 so it's a great deal. i am still looking and trying to finda better one, but no one else has a lower price.

i also got my buddy to order a TRD short shifter, strut tower bar, MR2 plug wires, and a Performance oil filter, but since it's not on priorty, it will take between 1 and 4 weeks for it to get here.

i have already started taking out the engine, my dad is going to buy an engine hoist also to remove, i'm just un-hooking things for now.

wish me luck
