Hey all. I live in Orange County and was wondering how gas prices over here compare to the rest of the nation.

I currently pay roughly 2.30/gal (91 octane). I noticed prices have dropped a couple cents over the past few days, but I still pay about 30 bucks for a full tank (from empty) frown !!!!! How much do you guys pay?

I live here in OC and pay around that. I'm tempted to just start filling up half way, then top it off with some rubbing alcohol or something.

Since I live in Canada we do things a little bit differantly, but last time I got gas (92 octane) it was 97 cents a litre, the car holds a bit over 45 litres I believe and I had four bars on my gauge left, needless to say it ended up costing $43.60, which would be $31.73 USD.

To be completely honest I have no clue what a gallon of gas is going for where I live. I just tell them 3 or 2 dollars until I can get to the 100 octane $4 + or above pump and tell them $30 which is like a bit over a quarter tank. I don't drive my poor Celica that much anymore as you can tell.

This morning I barely made it to the gas station with $10 in my pocket. I put less than 5 gallons. The price per galon for 93 octane was: $2.20

I saw $2.09 a gallon here in Atlanta over the weekend for 93 octane...I also went to South CArolina over the weekend with my girlfriend, and saw some race gas the were selling at one of the Phillips 76 stations (which I never see anymore) for like $4.89 a gallon for 110 octane gas...didn't get any because I wasn't sure how my engine would take to it.

2.49 for 91 octane... dam.. five bucks a gallon in europe...i would have crotch rocket in that case. imagine having a hummer over there. it would be like 50 cents a mile. kinda feels ridiculous to even drive at that price. at an average 15,000 miles a year (california average)that would be 7,500 a year, 625 a month, 156.25 a week, 22.32 a day, which would mean you have to fill your tank every other day. daaaaaammmmm thumbsdown thumbsdown thumbsdown thumbsdown
