my boy showed up to my house today with a brand new blue srt-4 the car is sick im so fucking jealous...i think i have to get rid of the celi and buy something new...and faster

the car maybe faster but its ugly! the celica is sexy looking! but good for him. i would take one just because you could own almost anyone with some mods

speed wise the SRT-4 kicks ass. Though I dont care for its looks. I think the celica looks 100x better.

Personally I think the newer neons are...acceptable looking, and I think that the SRT-4 looks better than the regular neon, so... I guess I kind of like how the SRT-4 looks. Not like how I like how my Celi glistens in the sun, but they're not to bad imo.

The Celica is hardly a realy sports-car. It's a FWD, inline 4cyl that just happens to have 2 doors. If you removed the back seats, doubled the displacement, and converted to RWD, then you could call it a sports car.
Don't get me wrong, the SRT-4 isn't a sports car either. The 350Z, FD (1994+ RX7 for those not literate in model abbreviations), Z06, and S2000 are.

If we talk about shape, the SRT-4 is just a NEON w/bodykit!  I wouldn't change my celica for that!!!!  Anyways... my thinking always has been that sport cars must be 2 doors.

my 2 cents Lol, because you'd need some $$$ to do it. 1.) Supra will cost more 2.) Insurans will go through the roof. But I do agree with you. There was one around here I think a TT manual with 86,000 miles or something for only $23,000

Eww.. it's ugly, very piss poor reliability and durability both inside and out and it can pretty much only go straight.. a GTS would kill that thing on the track.

im not a celica owner that has gone bad...i love my celica and i dont want a srt-4 im just saying they are crazy quick..they do 0-60 in 5.8 and push 13lbs ob boost fromt the factory...thats more then any aftermarket Turbo will do on a celica unless there is major engine mods...i did however drive a honda s2000 today i can get one for 23,000 its a 2000 with only 8000 miles on it..practically brand new...
