1. make an accurate budget of your bills (if any). include miscellaneous things and entertainment money.
2. open up a savings account. When you cash your paycheck, take the apportioned amount of money you have figured in your budget to be 'extra' and put it in there. If you open up a savings account that adds a small fee when you withdraw, you will be less likely to take money out of it. Also, just having your money in a not so readily accessible place will make you less likely to spend it
i used microsoft works to make my budget, personally..but there are many ways it can be done (not all of which require a computer)
Ahh thanx Yeah I tried Excel already got it set up and uh yeah lasted one day lol I have a saving account but if I put money in I cant take it out till I am 18 Hune 14th...So maybe I should just ut money in there and proportion it out like you said..thats what I am gonna do...YES
just remember that when making your budget..be lenient. don't keep cutting it to extremes where you 'think' you can make due with this amount of $$. be fair to yourself (your young so it's not like you need to stress over paying bills upon bills.
proportion out a pretty fair amount of entertainment expenses and force yourself to keep to it. also remember that friends birthdays, graduations, dances, etc do happen and you will need to spend $$ on those events.
Even if you can save 50-100 a week--that's awesome.
Yeah I am in love with Supras...Everytime I see one I get laughed at by my friends just cause I tend to chase after it around a corner to ride off in the sunset without me but one day it will be mine and Im gonna say bye bye to everything(hopefully)
ahah I have a friend like you. He doesnt have a license and when he drives with me he always tells me to follow the supra, I just laugh and say start savin
Yeah hehe see he knows what im talking about...but when i get it I have to worrie about the Honda Civic cause the rock says the civic can never lose, I used to have the picture but I cant find it and the rock said so i dont think i can beat a civic

ha ha good one.. cept its parked in the garage, has ADT but one night he left his 360 modena spider parked outside since it got stuck in second gear and they had to have it towed =P that woulda been nice too from his front parking lot to my parents garage

Yeah but I am thinking of maybe a MK3 single Turbo until I get my MK4 TT what do yall think about that plan? cause June 14th I turn 18 and my dad is getting me a loan or a finace and im thinking maybe a MK3 to get used to the power they have because I was gonna bye my dads vette off him but I am scared of that bitch every time I drive it I get scared but then again a supra is 10x better so I think ill get an MK3 and save until I am used to the supra feeling.
Or maybe a Celica...cause I had a 2k1 but I was drinking and my DD was being stupid and uh yeah ran that bitch into a tree going 40 it was totaled but yea
MKIV Supra (I presume) certainly is nice, a bit pricey for the early ones but the big thing to consider is insurance (big bucks) and repairs which can be pretty expensive on a 93 or 94 car (since those are the cheapest MKIV's due to their age) sooo save up lots and lots!
I know how you feel though, I wanted a Supra pretty bad and I checked a couple out (sat in them and started them up) but the repairs and insurance is what stopped me, and I know a guy who bought a '93.5 and the Turbo's ended up blowing so he had to dump money into that and other parts.

The best way for me to save money is not to eat out so much. I realize I waste so much money when I go out to eat when I could be eating my parents' food. As for dumping the girlfriend, well... mine buys things for me and is really good to me, so I dont mind dropping money on her, plus she pays her way most of the time
when you turn 18 get a better job. you can make $10.50 an hour starting pay with FedEx like I did...I now make $11 and might get another dollar raise I'm only 20 and gonna hopefully be pullin in $1800 a month.
"I ride big body Benz, Gucci shade lens/ Me an all my friends got the platinum diamond grin/ Everything Im in spin, on 20" Larenz/ Lay back on buckskin, wit my braids in the wind."

Wow will they higher me? does it depend on driving records and stuff?
Yeah when you turn 18 you should wait tables at a chain restaurant. I started at Chili's, and it with a lot of hard work, in 3 months I became a bartender there. good money, and I've been doing it for about 10 months.
apply and see if their hiring. you wont start as a driver, you'll be a handler in a warehouse. you'll sort and stack the freight into big ass cans that go on planes and trucks. thats what i do and its cake.

if you ask me, i say finish your studies queicker...gain experience faster (ie: voluntere), don't waste your time/energy on drugs and shit you don't need. if you do the math right, you will end up getting your supra faster than someone who works his ass off min wage...
Ok guys I make 6/hour and im 17 I want to save up for a 1996 MK4(Supra) TT but I cannot save money I have to blow it but I wanna save whats some tips!
6$ an hour...that sucks
"You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f------ khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world."
I started as a busboy in another restaurant, but I made 7/hr because I worked hard. When you turn 18, a whole new world of oportunities opens up as far as the work place is concerned.
dont save do a hit opr somfhing and sell your celica and then you have mony or in my case i need a lot ton start saving with about 3000 $ try selling somfhibng so you get a good start
my advice..simply cut away entertainment things...20 bux here and there adds up.you dont realize how much money you spend until you stop soending it..and you see how much it all adds up. if you cut out the small things..you could b saving like 300 a month. and thats enough to finance.
Supra ? Expensive toy! $6 hr? By the time you'll get the money... Supra gonna be even more expensive it will be a "CLASSIC"
Options: 1. Ask Santa Clauss (or your parents) for one, next Christmas! 2. Buy the lotto every single day! 3. Wait 'til you get a College Diploma and make $25+ hr.!
* DON'T SEE A CAR AS A TOY *. Remember: Expensive car = Expensive Parts & Repairs. Get an affordable car! Get a CELICA!
