it looks like you're spraying too close to the plastics. Take your time, give it some room and do small bursts. Should turn out fine.

did you clean it before you spray it, and prime it before putting the red coat in. I think you r spraying too close too.

Yes, cleaning and priming is important.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

^^ agree with billy & eyger. your 2nd coat will always turn out better though..and if you can, use some clearcoat, it'll make it shiny

unless there is a huge improvement from how it is in those pics then i say sand it down, primer it, sand that, then paint and clear coat it, because that looks like shit

OK... a few things here... 1. clean and degrease before you start painting. I'm noticinga little bit of "fish- eying" This is caused by the surface tension of the paint being stronger than its bond to the surface... caused by a dirty surface. 2. PRIME!!!! ALWAYS prime your surface... the primer creates a nice surface that increases the bonding ability of the topcoat paint. A good primer coat is VITAL to a good paint job. 3. Hold the spray can farther away... 12 to 16" is usually good, and spray in even strokes accross the piece, not in circular motions. Start spraying off to one side of the piece, and spray all the way accross off the other side. This helps to ensure an even coat. 4. check out the paint guide in the installs forum for step by step instruction, and if you have any other questions, PM me! P.S. i would sand it down smooth and start over Good luck, and keep us posted
