Jae- how old are you? I am assuming you are a guy. I think no matter what car you get, your insurance is going to be high until you are 25 when you get a break.

THe Insurance on the WRX would be too high..but like Celica Cutie said anything you drive unless its a family vehical would be high...

If you're under 25 and a single male, you're pretty screwed as far as insurance goes.

I would just keep the Celica and wait til you turn 25. Your insurance might drop a few dollars if you got a cavalier or something, but its not going to be significant...significant enough to trade the celi in.

You guys aren't very good with finances, if you think getting any of those will "save" you money...

the insurance on my celica gts is $17 a month more than the insurance would be on a 1997 Hyundai Elantra. if it has 2 or more wheels and is gas powered, it's $200 a month to insure

Yeah, people fail to realize the way that insurance is quoted. The comp and collision rates are unaffected by who you are... they are only rated based on the car. Your liability rates aren't impacted by the car, only by your age and driving record. If you're 16-20, about 75% of your insurance cost is your liability. So really, the type of car you drive isn't going to matter that much.
