well it happened again and now its more fucked then ever. some fucker decided to break into my car and steal my S-AFC controller and also my Radio Face plate.

they threw a pretty big size rock thru the drivers side window

they left everything and only took my stereo and S-afc



but that shit is no big deal. what really is pissing me off is the asshole used a fucking rock to break the window and as you know, when something is thrown hard enough it needs to stop somewhere. unfortunatly my passenger arm rest stopped it


Now the car wont stay on with out the S-AFC and i got this huge fucking hole in my passenger door.

insurance said theyll send a claim adjuster in 2 days. so for 2 days my car will sit there with a rock in the door glass inside and outside the car.

well ill see what the insurance bitches say soon enough.

Chances are nothing, rock sounds like punk ass kids. Bet they did it for kick not to pawn off the parts. In my old apartments the guy next to me had his car broken into the same way and they stole the radio, he found the radio in the dumpster 4 cars down.

i feel your pain. last summer, someone literaly rang a screwdriver on my passenger side door (on my other car civic)...big huge line...cost almost 500$ to repaint/fix

nope no garage and nope insurance wont cover aftermarket stereo or panel. said it was under 500 bucks damage. so im screwed. i went out and picked up another afc controller for 250. and the window i can get for 10 bucks (dads friends)

so ill just fix it and hope it doesnt happen again. im pretty sure who did it to. cause they went straight for my shit and then new where i was hiding it (in between carpet and center console. so well go poke around later this weekend are there place and ruffle some feathers.

wait they just took your faceplate? whats a s-afc and why wont your car start with out it? if its the fuel management controller, why didnt you hide it better? like behind the glove box.

sucks though, they must have been runing with that rock, it not only went through your drivers side window, but it went through your car and into the passenger side armrest, pretty hard...

did you file a police report?

Actually to those who wonder what they're going to do with the faceplate...

Check eBay. Faceplates sell from $20-60 there. People like replacements/spares...
This is why, if you have a detachable faceplate...you /need/ to use that feature. I made the mistake myself, fortunately at the time all I had was a $120 Sony Xplode from Wal-Mart, lol.

damn that sucks man, happens to me once but the mother fuckers couldnt get shit because I have the valet 554r alarm install and that shit start viping in my remote and get outside and saw the fuckers running and i went to see who they were but no luck they were fast man I trew a fucking rock at them to see if I can get one fucker but nothing no even close, but anyways insurance cover everything then I moved and no problems since then .

That blows. THat's why I'm not gonna hook up my ride...it can sometimes attract the wrong attention.
