And masked off so the black is actually part of the Urethane.

Try to take off your bumper and see if you can removie the black part. you guys are not getting the point(as mentioned by others) its part of the mold of the whole(stock) bumper. it cannot be removed(unless you cut it out). the bumpers you see with mesh grills are prolly aftermarket bumpers

I'd suggest useing JB Weld I dunno I just love the stuff its strong and can withstand high heat not that the heat part matters =P..
