ok i was wondering, if i trade my car in for '04 from '01, what is exactly different, i know the stereo, body kit kit, rear tail, trunk handle, and the interior..
anything else? and is it better or is it worse??

new 2004 has the electronic throttle, which may be good or bad. as long as you're trading in why not something else, maybe something better.

The 03 & 04 have a few nice touches that I know of. All interrior electronics are the same color orange, not the tacky green or whatever mixed in with it. The GTS has a power antenna... and HIDs are a factory option now

the action package is different, you can even get painted headlights there are a few other, minor changes made..

i guess what i really want to ask is: why? it's still a 7th gen celica so your not going to be experiencing much of a difference. you'll 'lose' literally thousands of dollars doing this. why not use that money to make your car even better than an '04? and of course, there are a million other things to do with thousands of dollars...including saving it.

this is just my opinion: but it's not worth it.

but the differences are:
the orange lights,
better leather (im not sure from which year they changed the leather)
Drive-by-wire,
different lift bolt (which wears too, but not as much),
taillight,
liftgate,
bodykit,
HID (US version only. no HID in canada ),
something about the sunroof material i believe,
darker interior,
better plastic...
power antenna (US verison only. i dont think they add the power antenna in canada)
rev limiter (this one im not sure. some said the 04 has a 7800 rev limiter...but that should be taken already from 03... im not sure on this one cos i never got a comfirmation.)
fog light
more body colors to choose from
tinted body color headlight houseing (non HID verison only i believe)
better shift (6spd)

hmm... i cant think of anything else right now...

If you're going to trade your car you may as well trade it for something a little better, a lot have gone to the 350Z and RX-8. But there are plenty of options.

i have an 04, fuel cutoff or rev limiter is at 8350 or so.
02's got the 7.8 cutoff
