ECelica people #179629 May 17, 3:07pm Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 336 Florida jav8or Member 2002 Toyota Celica jav8or Member 2002 Toyota Celica Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 336 Florida well i did it... after countless posts about"lift" and "the exilerating feeling of pull through 6000 rpms" i traded in my auto gt for a 2002 gts sex speed the difference is like night and day ( including insurance ) simply put, i love that lift shit and the sound of the engine...makes me go long story short ... i am ready to go at my friends rsx type s all that shit about how no celica can keep up with him is out the door thanx guys 8600 rpm killer!!!!!!

GTS is the only way to go. Sorry GT owners no disrespect, that's how I feel. I might want to think twice before racing your friend without an ECU swap or Power FC. This all depending if he/she shifts like grandma and if you fly like Lucky. Lowered limiter or not.
