Has anyone here tried the Hyper Voltage system? Dose it live up to it's claims of: *Increased torque *Increased throttle response *Brighter headlights *Reduced audio noise *Improved fuel efficiency *Longer battery life http://www.sunautomobile.com/

According to this site it is different from ground wires and shows the most benefit when used with ground wires. Everything I've read so far is short on hard technical facts to back up the claims, but it sounds like it has potential (no pun intended) http://www.minitruckinweb.com/tech/0401mt_sot/Hyper Voltage System will increase of both horsepower and torque The Hyper Voltage System is to stabilize the flow of the voltage from the battery. By stabilizing the voltage from the battery, the load on the battery is reduced, resulting in increasing engine Performance and electrical equipment. TYPE MR increase Multi-range rev power and torque TYPE LR increase Low and mid range rev power and torque TYPE HR increase Sport driving and high rev power and torque http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ape-auto~performance-Hyper~Voltage~System.htm

You've peaked my interest. I'll keep checking this post, and do a little research on my own to see what I can find. If it's on the net, I can find it.

its kinda like puting a capacitor inline with your amp... it just maintains voltage, so you dont loose power and loose sound quality/bass (if your running it to your subs)
id say hit that, you will also have to hit a ground wire set up, but those arent expensive, for apparent gains

Isn't there a Celica site selling a cheaper version of the ground wire set up? I'm not sure which site it is. Anyone know?

they're just ground wires... you can make 'em yourself instead of paying $115 for Hyper Ground wires like i did.

Hyper Voltage is not the same as thing as Ground wires.
Did see it in the Import Tunner mag, they seemed to think it works.

You are right about the ground wires, you can easily and far more cheaply make them yourself.

Decided to just take the risk and get the HyperVoltage MR (Multi Range) unit and glad that I did, noticeably increased pull, and engine runs smother through out the rev range especially from 6.2 to 8.3K. Easy install, only two wires, 15 min of work. Took a few runs for the ECU to recalibrate from the battery disconnection during install, after that it was all good. About the same increase in power that I experienced with just the ground wires, not huge but definitely there. So to answer my own question; I'd say yes. got it from: http://www.rxecret7.com/hyvopa.htmlYeah, I know it's an RX-7 site but hey they had the cheapest price I could find. $150 plus $10 shipping.

doubt it's any different than the TeamCelica grounding kit I have but I'm glad you're pleased with it...
