Called 2 shops in Dallas area to install KYB AGX's and Tein S-Techs. One quoted 4HRS @ $70/hr and the other 6HRS @ $70/hr. These aren't high-end shops either. So I've got $280 to $480!!!!!!! I've done searches here and everything I see say should be about $150 - $200 for shocks and springs. If this is really the going rate, my springs and shocks are gonna collect dust. WTF!

just do it yourself. But don't use the crazy two jack method. Go rent a spring compressor. It's actaully a really easy job. Unless of course you aren't technically inclined, then it's basically whoever you feel is more capable of the install. That sucks though. There aren't god shops where I live either, that's why I do stuff myself.

are there only two places in town that can do it? you can try to do it yourself, but if you don't feel comfortable doing it, then you shouldn't 'cuz you might end up hurting yourself.

VVT (with no f'ing profile). I'm gonna assume you are 15 and probably don't even own a Celi or are just ignorant. Obviously as a NOOB you don't really understand protocol here so I'll cut you some slack. Try to supress idiotic comments that serve no purpose but to inflate your already out of control ego. Look at my profile and you will see I am extremely interested in quality on my car. I will not perform a mod if I think it will turn out half azz b/c I have no experience. Use your Celi (if you have one) as a test ground and we'll compare the results! Sorry to rant all...damn NOOBs! angry
