ok so hopefully i just need to fix the lift but im not sure that is the problem...
Usually when i press the gas down a certain distance something kicks in and the car accelerates fast. Now i it only works occasionally and sometimes i can press the gas all the way down to the carpet and the car only accelerates at a normal speed and no lift kicks in!!! anyone no whats wrong???

sounds like your lift bolt is broken... if your milage is less than 60,000, then you're in good shape... first go to teamcelica website to print out the TBS report on it and bring it to the dealer and describe your situation. This is what i did to get mine fixed... they can't ignore a TBS report!!!

you don't need to bring th TBS to them.. They should know already, when i went to buy my FLANGE BOLT<<that's what they call it, they print the TBS out for me to keep..just go there and tell them the systom of ur car and tell them to check at to see if it's under warranty, if you have any left that is. But still if it turn out to be ur Lift bolt then they would replace anyway.
