Does anyone know how wide the pipe is from the cat. to the muffler??? and would I be able to get a wider pipe?

I belive it's 2.5 inches, but there really isn't any Performance benefit in getting a wider pipe because most cat-back exhausts for our car has the same pipe diameter, not to mention the headers are the same too. So if anything you'll lose some Performance due to less back pressure. thumbsdown

Go to a muffler shop and have them put a bigger pipe on there thumbsup, its that simple

So i shouldnt do that? when i clicked on the word Performance in your post it says wider pipe gains 1-3 HP. confused

Well... it'll probably be around $50-$80 for a wider pipe. Personally I don't think it's worth the money and time. You'll get better gains from a cat-back exhaust and headers. But you can try it and tell me how it goes thumbsup

its all about flow and thermodinamics, i heard from the guys who tune corllas that if you wrap the whole first half of your exhaust exept for the catalytic converters it keeps the gases hot and expanded and that could give you up to, i think, 5-10whp. thumbsup

also get a hi-flow muff(he-he), ok, i mean mufler tongue
